About CAM TECH

About us

Florida has one of the most challenging licensing examinations in the country and statistics show those who tackle it without a proven exam prep program have very little chance of passing. Don’t waste your valuable time and money on “cram courses” or worse, go it alone.

CAM TECH SCHOOL of CONSTRUCTION offers more than three times the class days other schools offer. Our classes are non-repetitive, individually distinct with personal instruction and tailored to your particular licensing category. Our students will come to class knowing each of our sessions is different.

Sure, we could schedule our classes like all the other contractor's exam prep schools, where every weekend is pretty much the same and you have an open invitation to do it all over and over again each week. But we don’t because we want you to learn what you need to know in order to pass one of the toughest contractors' exams in the nation the first time! That’s why you really need hands-on, involved teaching in a progressive curriculum with live instructors.

The CAM TECH program is composed of two distinct parts: Home Study and Weekend Classes.

The Home Study allows you time to familiarize yourself with your reference books at your own pace and the weekend classes are where it all comes together. We know from our over 80 years of combined licensing experience that there is no way to “cram” all the material needed for the state exam in just one or two weekends. Repetitive material or tapes don't give you the focused assistance of an instructor who is right there for you, in person. We also offer a different practice exam every weekend and we don’t just give you the answer sheet for your practice exam. We work out each question, step by step, with you and show you how to arrive at the correct answers. But what makes our program absolutely unbeatable is the fact that our technical classes are broken up by individual licensing categories so you will get the specific attention you need for your particular exam.

And our instructors are the best: They include Cam Colon who has over 25 years of experience helping people just like you to pass that challenging exam, as well as 9 other specialists in their licensing fields.

Come to one of our programs and know that in just a few weeks, you will have the best preparation of anyone in the state to beat the odds and get your license!

Now, check out the schedule to attend one of our Free Licensing Information Seminars where you will learn everything about the State of Florida Certified Contractor’s Exam and what CAM TECH has to offer.
